Round 43 of the Active Club Program, Round 2 of the Female Facilities Program and the 2017/18 Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program are all now open.
All of these funding programs support community-based sport and active recreation organisations to deliver programs and services to their communities.
Closing date for applications is Monday 10 April 2017.
In Round 43 of the Active Club Program, a maximum request of $5,000 is available for Program and Equipment applications, and up to $25,000 for facility requests.
The Goyder electorate has a notional allocation of $40,000 to distribute in Round 43.
Eligible to apply are community-based sport and active recreation clubs that are incorporated under the Associations Incorporations Act 1985, and do not hold a Gaming Machines Licence.
The Female Facilities Program: helps to develop sustainable, functional, inclusive fit for purpose female change room facilities. Organisations (including Industry Representative bodies, Local Government, Community Groups, and Incorporated Sport or Active Recreation clubs that do not hold a Gaming Machine License) can apply for up to $500,000 towards the development of new or upgrade of current, outdated change facilities.
2017-18 Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program: helps organisations to establish or improve sport and active recreation facilities and offer 2 categories - Minor (facility development requests $25,001-$200,000) and Major (requests $200,001-$1,000,000).
2017 Sports Vouchers Program: a State Government initiative administered by the Office for Recreation and Sport. It provides an opportunity for primary school aged children from Reception to Year 7 to receive up to a $50 discount on sports membership/registration fees. The purpose is to increase the number of children playing organised sport by reducing cost as a barrier to participation. All primary school aged children are eligible for one voucher per calendar year. More info: www.sportsvoucher.sa.gov.au
