Organisations, schools and individuals are encouraged to apply for an SA Health Suicide Prevention Community Grant, with the 2017 funding round opening today.
Up to $10,000 is available to implement suicide prevention activities, training and projects that will make a difference in their community.
The Office of the Chief Psychiatrist, SA Health, is seeking applications for suicide prevention activities that can be undertaken from 1 July 2017 to 31 June 2018.

South Australians are also being invited to provide feedback on the state's new draft Suicide Prevention Plan which outlines areas of priority for the next five years.
The Plan includes several areas of focus including community Suicide Prevention Networks (there are two of these in the electorate, SOS Yorkes and SOS Copper Coast) as well as improving treatment options and care planning.
Public consultation on the South Australian Suicide Prevention Plan 2017-2021 is open until Friday, 19 May 2017 and people can make a submission at the YourSAy website, www.yoursay.sa.gov.au
