Regional Capability Community Fund to soon open

Applications for funding under the Regional Capability Community Fund (RCCF) will open on 20 March 2017 and you will have two weeks to submit an online application.

The Regional Capability Community Fund (RCCF) supports rural, regional and remote communities across South Australia to better protect themselves from the impact of disasters such as extreme weather, fire and flood.

The information you will need to complete the form includes:

  • Personal details including Name, Address, Email

  • Business details including Name, ABN

  • Name and email of other (physically fit and able) equipment operators, if available

  • Physical address where the items will be located

  • Local Council area

  • Size of property

  • Predominant land use

  • Estimated distance to nearest CFS station and mains water

  • Number and capacity of reliable Private Farm Fire Units

  • Number and capacity of static water storage

  • Risk factors unique to your property

  • Details of the items you wish to purchase

  • Electronic copy of a quote to be uploaded

Applications will be accepted until 31 March 2017, at which time the link will be deactivated. Once you submit the form, you will receive an email confirming its receipt.

In 2017, $470,000 will be made available for South Australians to support the purchase of items that enhance community capability to respond to, and reduce the impacts of emergencies.

Individuals, businesses, community groups, not for profit organisations and local government can apply for half the GST costs of approved items, up to the value of $2,500 GST exclusive.
